My windshield wipers moved like 3 inches and stoped it will squirt water but will not move and there is like a slight knocking sound all the time if you listen real close

I don't know if you found the problem or not but it sounds like it could be the motor or arms under the cowl.

My arms were jammed with a dog chain, two Bic lighters and a really cool knife. Have you opened up the cowling to make sure your arms are moving freely?

Yep, just make sure you use some PB Blaster and wiggle the windshield back and forth to break the rust away so you don't bend or break the seldom used hinges.
