There are a ton of tent trailers on craigslist for really cheap. They are light weight and roomy. My sister bought one all tricked out for off road with big tires, brakes, awning, etc.. for $500 to pull behind her 4Runner.

I grew up snow camping and it was always fun. Funny how much warmer it is in the snow.

I've camped in the snow with just a tarp before too. Must have forgot my camera that day. Will be camping next weekend. Nice thing to have is a good 4 season tent and a mummy bag. Best part is, no bugs.

I was looking at those as well. I like the tear drop, it seems less able to be messed with in an untended camp ground.

There are tons of them for sale cheap and you toss a set of springs and some big wheels under them and you have instant shelter that you can drag into the wilderness.

I'm going to try to get outdoors more in the summer. I spend it inside hiding from the sun but it seems I'm missing out.

Has anyone towed a popup with an ATV ontop behind their Jeep?

I have seen popups with a small flatbed section for that occasion. I have also seen someone take the axle off of a popup and put the whole thing on a car hauler to be able to have extra room. I think you would be best off getting one and extending the frame and tongue a few feet and making room for the bike. a simple task that would be sweet.

I winter camp in a tent and it is not bad so I can only imagine it being better then that.
