I'm looking at purchasing a '99 Sahara and before I did I just wanted to know the difference between the different wrangler trims. The sooner the better. Thank you.

NO. It's strictly a trim option. They have a different interior detail and exterior trim detail. The doors have a saddlebag, the seats are usually a sand or spice color, matching top, etc.... Under the skirt it's the same as every other Wrangler that year.

The body may look the same but the Rubicon has
Dana 44 front and rear axles, air lockers, 4:10 gears,
SYA kit,4-1 transfere case,4 wheel disc brakes.
The Rubicon is the top of the line.

The Sahara is the next in line. The Rubicon and Sahara share the same
fender flares. But Rubicon's are not painted.
