ok,, ya'll. I absolutely HATE this sound of my new 09 wrangler's horn. It sounds sissy-fied,,, if you get my drift.

Where do I get a replacement horn, and more importantly, what do I ask for?
You all know the distinct sound,,, it's the MEEP MEEP sound,,, as someone said,,, like the roadrunner,,,

so,,,, i will wait and see what you all have to tell me.

I am getting my cruise control installed tomorrow.

Weird. I Just read a thread on this today. I fully agree, I hate the fact that my jeep looks mean and then makes that very pathetic (you nailed it) Meep meep.

hey, Ya'll,, I just want the TRADITIONAL jeep horn sound like in the MASH jeeps.... I use to have a mash jeep,, many moons ago (back in the 70's) and that's the one I want...

the question is,, where do I get it and how do I tell the vendor what type of sound,, surely,,,, ugggggggg!

not sure what that is,, OEM? please, someone translate....how do I know what this horn sounds like? I just want the traditional sounding jeep horn,, like in the OLD days. THis factory horn is just pathetic sounding!

original equipment manufacturer oem is like stock factory. like you could swap an OEM/stock horn from a TJ/YJ into your rig there still not awesome horns but they are more manly then the JK horn haha.
im not sure if you can swap em it sounds like an easy fix tho look it up online. im sure theres a Writeup somewhere about doing it. or you could go with the Dixie horn setup seen that in alot of cars/trucks

My 2000 TJ has a really loud horn compared to my friends 2005 TJX.
