Hello i have a 2005 rubicon it has about a4inch lift and from 50 miles per hour. It starts to vibrate. And anything below 50 it doesnt. I put a cv driveshaft in t he back and its still there it does not wander anybody have a clue

You need a slip yoke eliminator to change the drive shaft, did they get it right .?

What is an acceptable angle?

In the future I might consider lifting my Rubicon, will it make the angle of the driveshaft bad.

With a cv shaft it should be pretty straight at the diff.

Just curious...is the vibe in the front? Does it go away when you drive it with the rear driveshaft removed? It could be anything from driveline/ pinion angle to poorly or out of balance tires.

1. Check if your tires are balanced
2. Check for any loose or worn bolts, bearings or joints

before you consider any other measures.

I already had the wheels balanced and the cv driveshaft helped a little but its still there it might be in the front not sure

check the front cv shaft the self aligning ball can wear and cause vibration also or your frnt u joint at axle also

Pull the front driveshaft and drive it....then pull the rear and drive in 4 wheel drive. That will show if it's in the front or rear drive train
