We have an "occupy" camp nearby. Mostly homelss drunks and hippies on disabilty. I kinda agreed with the "one percenters". But they all went back to their jobs.

The people that actually occupy are really not the people that the 99% should have leading the way. When we had them in LA it pushed me more away from them then towards their cause. To me they are a bunch of hippies, druggies and drunks like you said.

Just had an incident here where several of them were aggressively blocking the entrance to a bank, bank calls the cops, cops show up, video shows occupiers actually grabbed one of the officers from behind and another appears to try and grab at one officers gun. Two busted heads and seven arrests later, the occupiers are on tv crying about how they were mistreated. lucky they weren't dead. Their movement is dead locally and they are trying to breathe some life back into it with "controversy"

I had some empathy for them in the beginning, but all that's left is the fanatics and a few dingleberries.

last year when the where in boston, it cost the tax payers 30 million it cop over time, 50 million in dammages to the rose kennedy green way and 150 million in lost revinue ,,, yeah they did a lot of good for us.
