Sell the Jeep then. Jeeps are in constant need of modification and if you are afraid, you should buy a Prius.
Just sayin'. Nothing stays stock on a Jeep forever. Might as well dive in or go back to the locker room.
I have heard that the XRC sliders have issues on install on JK's so it is a normal issues. Good luck and keep your tools handy :)

No thats not the case. She wants mods and figures if you are paying .for a mod that is made for your particular Jeep ,then it should fit with out having to grind or drill to make it fit, unless it states so in the instructions. It is a simple mod and simple to put on, about 10 - 15 mins each side She just doesnt want to "VOID" her warranty. Specially after the problems with stealerships that I have had with mine. Ill cut or weld or whatever she wants. But I have to agree with her. I was just asking if anyone else had the same issues, and what was their conclusion to the problem.
Smittybuilt is notorious for misaligned holes and fittings. But, they are a cheaper way to get mods. You get what you pay for.

Understandable. Contact Smittybuilt via email and ask them what to do. If they email you back to grind/drill it then you haven't voided the warranty because they told you to, and you have proof with the email.
Smittybuilt is a good company and their customer service is great. I have a few of their products on my Jeep and I am very happy with them. Especially my XRC8 winch. I use it constantly on the trail and here on the ranch. Had it for years and never had one problem with it.
Good luck and welcome to the forum by the way.
took me 3 hours just to mod and install the left side,, the right side,,, took just about the same time... not 1 freaking hole lined up... i thought i bought the wrong parts.,,,, but ****tybuilt just plane sucks
Thanks Smittybuilt will send another set for free, and told me to just keep the other set. Said they have been having a lot of issues with the 2012s.

You have the right attitude! Keep it up! Don't let some "weird" comments distract you! Even if the new one needs a little adjusting, the price is right!:)

Have no idea. Would hate to sell them to you and they not fit.
Ya I here ya how long are they ? If you don't mind lol

They are 55" If I were you I would go to a store that sells These, ask if you can match them up, and if you can weld and athink you could make them fit, Ill sell them to you. But it may not be worth it.
How long we're you in special forces?
17 Years, Absolutely loved it. Nothing like the "Army". How about you, Happy birthday to screaming eagles.
Now is 55" end to end or where your mounts are for the rails? And so far the army isn't bad so far, i have one more day of Air Assault school left and I'm done with that. But other than that just trying to enjoy the ft. Campbell area ( kind of hard if you ask me) :)
End to end, about 44 1/2 center mount to center.
