When I bought my rig, it already had nitrogen in the tires... I've only taken it through some puddles, nothing where I would need to deflate at all...

I am assuming that re-inflating with air would not hurt anything, considering normal compressed air is about 78% nitrogen anyways.. Am I right on this?

Th reason I'm asking is because I had the tires on my company truck balanced a few months backs, and guy at the tire shop said the pressure was off on a couple of em, and said he wouldn't put air in them because they were nitrogen filled and he didn't have compressed nitrogen..

Air is fine, your tires won't know the difference.

Air is good, the shops like to sell you nitrogen to make more money.

Kinda what I thought, but wanted to get the opinion of the guys that wheel on the regular..
