Hey Firewalker!
There are some of us in the local area, not that there aren't a ton of Jeeps, but a small group that's part of a much larger group out of Memphis.
Our club is quite large, good group of folks and we have a number of organized runs during the year along with a scattering of misguided freeforalls the rest of the time.
If you think you'd be interested in the club, holler at me.

Is there anywhere in particular that you go that's local? I'm in the Lexington area.

That sounds great. I'm new to the jeep sine here in Tennessee and don't know anyone to go wheeling with. I live in beech bluff and would love to do some organized stuff but I don't mind just getting lost in the woods ether. I've had my rig for two months now and had a xj before this that never saw the dirt. That's a sad thing. I'll pm you my number and maybe we can get together. I work for the fire dept in Jackson so I got nothin but time.

I'll bet there's some good wheelin' down that way. I'm up here in Knoxville myself. If you ever get up this way be sure to check out Wndrock. Lot's of acres and trails for all levels.

I heard a lot about that place. I want to plan a weekend up that way some time. Never been to a place like that. Are they pretty kid friendly? I'm sure they all can get a little crazy sometimes. We are grime California and spent a lot of time in the desert. Had a lot of fun so I'm looking for something to take the kids to here. They love wheelin.

One place that is convenient to all of us is Hawk Pride.
Lots of trails and not too expensive (compared to Coal Creek)

I've been to Coal Creak, great place, but you have to break out the gold card to wheel there.

We're from CA too, been here 8 years.
As soon as we can get this house sold, we're headed back to the PNW.
