All,

I just replaced my OEM throttle body (4 cyl 2.5L) with the Hesco 9199HFTB.
It is compatible.

Here's the problem:

After I get it all together, I start the engine.
She starts up fine but immediately races up to high RPMs.
I quickly shut off the ignition.

I know (am certain) that she is connected correctly and all plugs are where they ought to be.

Has this happened to any of you all?

HELP !!!

Thanks for any advice at all.

Figured it out!

Needed to reset the computer. Disconnecting the battery does not reset the computer! Stupid Chrysler requires that a shop do this.
Had it done for 40 bucks!
She's running great now.

I heard you can reset them that way or by disconnecting the battery and then turning the key to try and start the car.
