Quiet and relaxing.

I'm like an old woman when I hear teenagers having a good time. If I can't put a stop to it I'm going to at least complain.

I don't mind some some noise, but in the evening I like to enjoy a nice quiet campfire with some Morgan and diet root beer (regular root beer and Morgan is too sweet). Sitting around a fire (campfire not a motorhome fire) telling lies and jokes is very relaxing.
At Ocotillo Wells when the sun cracks the horizon there are dirt bikes waking everybody up. Courtesy would dictate 8am.
When we stayed with that Jeep club in Truckhaven over New Year's weekend they played loud music until one or two in the morning. Not cool.
During the day make as much noise as you want, because I will.

What I don't like is speakers blazing at midnight. Drives me nuts. I always try to find a section though that has no one else near it.

When me and my buddies go out we normally find a spot that's in a ways from the roads. 95% of these guys nowadays like to camp out close to the main roads. Last time though someone showed up and was blasting music as loud as it could go. I do believe that's illegal out there (something about a concert without permits) but the Rangers never stick around past 9pm.

It's hard to tell from this picture, but that is a 30 foot enclosed trailer (white smooth side). The guy has movies projected against the side of it, laser light show, Kliegel lights, and a HUGE sound system that he blasted through the desert. (crappy music too)
Notice nobody is sitting by the fire because to have a conversation you had to yell at the person next to you. What was the point? Everybody went inside their motorhomes to avoid the noise except his drunk friends. I will not be camping with that guy ever again. It's a cool setup for a party but not every night for five nights.

Jeep all day, eat dinner have a beer , BS for a bit then jeep all night then sleep in the camper.

Set up all my camping gear last night to make sure everything was in order.

I forgot how big my tent is. It's kind of stupid big. It also has a porch.

I kicked my tent yesterday, it has been sitting in a box since the last time I used it becasue they never make the bag big enough for it to fit back in without being machine folded.

I had a friend who was some sort of a tent folding savant. He could fold any tent back perfectly every time on the first time, and usually drunk as hell too

Your friend should get a job folding things to fit in small containers.

I never fold my tents. I always just stuff them in the bag.
