Cool. Do you have a wood burning stove for a heater? What is the stove pipe on the cowl?

That's the TJ Expedition Snorkel from River Raider that I had laying around from when I owed a TJ. Frankensteined in the YJ. I prefer the hummer style Vs side mount. Tree limbs and such are as big of an issue going this style.

Pics of what you did? I'm curious how you hooked it up and ran it through the fire wall.

Sure I can do that... Went through the passenger cowl obviously... 3.25 hole. Then took hole saw and cut the fresh air vent box from bottom of the seam. Placed aircraft flex hose from the wood burner stove top through the vent box...

Then cut a hole in the center of the firewall. Used Spectra off the shelve coupler in the firewall hole. Connected hoses... Hoses in engine bay is Spectra hoses....

River Raider Air Box, Spectra vacuum coupler and throttle body coupler, Spectra hoses. Done. And yes the vent box still drains water and allows air in... The air is restricted but does work. But then I live in south Florida, heat isn't a concern...

River Raider Off Road sells this particular style. The kit comes complete, I had to modify for the YJ.
And obviously you wont have to do the vent box thing... your cowl is different. You can take yours off, mount the top and you will come out of the firewall on the passenger side straight to your airbox.

How does the vent box work to drain water, but not letting any in??
