Changing heater core today and when I separated the two halves of the unit
A plastic piece fell out and I didn't notice where it came from and for the life
Of me I can't figure where it fits in. Any suggestions will be Appreciated or a
Exploded view or site to find one

that looks like an air selector door. jeeps always have hot water going to the heater core so they have a door inside the houseing that shuts off the hot air passageway going out of the housein to the ducts. it should be somewhat above the metal electric control on the bottom outside of the housein but inside the housein. the electric control on the outside bottom of the houseing actualy turns the door one way to allow hot air to flow and turns the other to shut the hot air flow off.
