So how do you feel about being required to buy healthcare whether you want it or not?


As a small business owner this could put some out of business. I tried last year to give my guys Health coverage and it came down to do you want a job or health care? we just couldn't afford it.

You can buy a private health plan for someone who is 30 and in great health for about 100 bucks a month. That same plan as an employer to buy for one employee is about 800 a month and goes up from there.

I will keep my private insurance thank you. I don't care if it's "free" from the government. I want real care in an expeditious manner without having the doctor thinking he isn't allowed to do a certain procedure without permission etc...
Our only recourse is to vote this guy out in November. Get out and vote.

I just heard the penalty for not having insurance will be 295 bucks in 2014 and within two years will be over 2 grand.

They say if you make enough to pay taxes you make enough to pay for insurance.

Time to quit my job, sign up for food stamps, join Section 8 housing, and let Obama take care of my every need. Yep, I'll vote for him once I find out he will provide me free drugs, pot and alcohol. As most believe, we'z won't needs to pay, cuz it's all free!

Right now we have about 15% Of our population with no health coverage, this multi Trillion dollar debt plan will reduce that number up to 9%. And think if I was under 26 my parent can still pay for my insurance so we need not to worry about that. (Even if our parents can't afford it)

"Nothing will change because most of you get insurance through your company so this won't effect you" Until you loose your job, until you retire, until your company stops paying for it because you have Obamacare.

If you couldn't tell I am 100% against this plan.

I still love how they think that if you have an income you can afford this. They don't realize how many people are truly struggling and have to make decisions of roof over their head and food on the table or health care. I don't get the thinking of some of these people.

The thinking is, they are out of touch with reality. Their reality is a house at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with a huge staff and pay for NOTHING out of their own pocket. When they move out of there they will go home to their multi-million dollar estate and live like a king.
He has no clue, never did, never will.

I was just told that I will no longer have to worry when I get sick if I will have coverage or not. I'll be broke but I can get that antibiotic.

If they have their way, I don't think this will be an option but reality.

Biggest single tax increase to ever be put upon the American public. I just hope we can last another 131 days. ( thats the election date)

WOW!!! I am surprised at the comments here, you all must be of the working middle class and pay your taxes. Some of the other boards have so real wacked out libtards spouting about how this is going to be obamas crown jewel that will surely get him reelected. And with 47+ percent of the American people who pay income tax for the 52+% who pay nothing this is going to be the single largest tax hike in American history. And what is really sad, we who pay our taxes will reap nothing from osamacare. This is beyond f'd up.

I am not sure if we are all the working middle class but we are definitely a group that doesn't like giving away our hard earned money without a damn good reason. We also want to see this country keep exceeding and at the moment we are not.

I underlined an important part of this with a question to everyone, how do we "alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government,"? Surely the answer is out there, someone with a lot more brains than myself must know?

We have far to many corrupt people running this nation, too many people that will do stupid things to make a buck or get popular and far to many citizens that want something for nothing and think they have a right to other peoples hard work to be able to turn it around now. I feel sorry for the future. Whoever thinks that borrowing money to pay for for everyday business has no place in our government. If you cannot afford things then don't do them. people need to learn to cut back on everything, If that means failure then that is what needs to happen. Trust me if you stop giving free money out people will find a way to support them selves, we have been doing it for thousands of years.

Fix it? With who Rik? There is not a single politician worth voting for, they are all so far out of touch with real world daily living it' s pathetic, it's boiled down to the lesser of the two evils lately.



Anyone would be better than the current socialist-in-chief, even Scooby Doo, but fix it? I think the toothpaste is outta the tube.

I wholeheartedly agree Chris. I hate to say it, and dump it on the younger generation but I am glad I am as old as I am, and will not be around to see this once great Country of mine go down the tubes.
