Yes, especially if the person doesn't know hot to cook it.

When I was a kid people would fight over the dark meat so they wouldn't have to try to choke down my Grandmother's overcooked white.

It was real bad.

I only eat the dark meat, tastes SOO much better, not to mention it feels like you're actually eating real meat, not some dry crap.
