I am putting DDM tuning 55w 5000K HID's in my Daylighters and then i'm getting conversion beams to run DDM Tuning 55w HI/LOW 5000K HID's in the headlights.

What goes on next depends on what I feel like buying. I DO want one of these on the roof:

Not sure if I want the 40" or 50" model. Front bumper is going to get a set of light bars as well. Spots will be moved to the windshield mounts.

We shall see... I know the 100 halogen bulbs are pretty bright for what they are, and knowing that HID bulbs are something like 3-4x brighter than equivalent halogen bulbs you can bet they will be bright :)

Just stock headlights and 2 KC's is more than adequate for night time rock crawling and some desert running across the whoops in JV. For rock lights I use some cheap harbor freight work lights.
To many bright lights at night just blinds everybody else in your group unless you are up front. When rock crawling just the headlights is more than adequate.

Do I have to fab windshield mounts for my lights or can I bolt them directly to the hinge brackets?

Or is there a place I buy them our whats the deal? I hear about windshield mounting lights, but I dint have the first clue as to how to mount them...

Thanks for your input

And to all you fellow Jeepers who have helped me out since I have joined this forum I thank you

Several places sell a bracket that bolts to your hinge on the windshield to give you a tab to mount a light to.

Might check with out site sponsor ( Serious Offroad) to see if he has them.... :)
