I got the newer one the HDhero2 with several different mounts. The thing is sweet but why the heck does nothing come with an SD Card anymore?

because of the high definition video it needs the super duper sd card.
Darn thing makes bitchin video and actually you can take a single frame and use that as a pretty nice picture and it does take pictures as well. The Hero 2 you can get this piggy back thing for that allows you a remote to turn it it on, you can stream video to the internet with it and I think the piggy back add on works as a view finder. It's pretty cool to watch your adventures on the big screen tv
