Just super bummed tonight... Hung out with a very GOOD buddy that I hang out with all the time for the last time tonight, for a long time, we've been great friends for nearly 7 years now. He leaves for the military sometime tomorrow afternoon. Wish I could hang out one last time but I have to work unfortunately.

Kind of at a loss for words here... Just had to vent or something..

Yeah, hoping he doesn't get all messed up in the head either, although he's the kind of person that dives head first into an open wound.. Bumming out the whole day..

Keep your mind.off.of.it as much as possible and just keep sending out good vibes. Worrying gets ya nowhere. I broke everytime my boyfriend got sent back out. Just relax and hope.for the best

Definitely not easy... Still kinda bummed about it, although I did find out just yesterday that he will be returning in the middle of may for a week after boot camp. He's wanting to hit up the desert badly.

No big deal. People have been going into the military for a very long time. I went. It's good for you to go in. IMHO.
It will make him a better person and he will always be your friend. Nothing to bum about other than he's gone for a while.
Hope he stays safe and there is nothing more you can do.
