Jeeps are a new thing for me and loving every second, only problem apparently is there are more drag strips than trails......beginner especially.......any recommendations for long island? Other than Beach (permit required)

You can always move out west. The further west you go the less drag strips and a more killer trails you will find.

I dunno about all that jazz........move west just for trails?...........I was curious if anyone knew trails on long island

Get in touch with a local Jeep club, or other 4x4 club, and go on a run with them. There's got to be other wheelers there that know where some trails are locally. most clubs won't publicly give out the locations of the trails they use (at least here we don't).
