Hello everyone,

I am looking at buying a used Jeep Rubicon from 2019 with a 3.6L V6 DOHC 24V FFV engine. The price is $35,000 and the title status is salvage. I am wondering if this is a good buy or not.

I am a first-time car buyer and I am looking for some advice from experienced car buyers. Is this a good deal? What should I look out for when buying a used car with a salvage title? Are there any potential issues that I should be aware of? What should I be doing to make sure that I get the best value for my money?

I would really appreciate any advice that you have to offer. Thank you in advance for your help and I look forward to hearing from you.

The price is right, the issue will be what kind of damage was incurred that gave it a salvage title? Body damage on a Jeep is no big deal but I would not want one with any frame damage.

I think that's a fairly good deal. Of course, the issue is with the rebuilt title, and would depend on how worse the structural damage are (looking great on the pics tho). On the other hand, the price seem comparable to 2019 Rubicons with clean titles (at least in my area). Personally, I won't risk it, it's a peace of mind thing. Insurance can be an issue as well (but again based on the pics, these look pristine). However, I know a buddy who drove a rebuilt Wrangler with no issues.
