Clock Spring Question

I have an 08 JK, my airbag light started to go on and off intermittently. Now it stays on until I turn left or right, it'll go off for about ten seconds, damn, came back on. Also, my Cruise Control and horn both WORK! Took it to Moore Chrysler Jeep, they said if they diagnose it and it is the Clock Spring, they would repair it at no cost to me. But, if they diagnose it and it is not that, I pay $119 for the diagnose fee, and they give me a quote on repairing it! Now the Question is: How can I make sure 100%, that it is the Clock Spring? Of course, so it won't cost me anything!

Go get a second opinion somewhere else. Don't tell them what you think it might be, let them tell you. If they say it's the clock spring, it probably is.
Other than that, it's a gamble.

Yea, already been to dealership with the codes that it gives but none are "P" codes. Now that I am thinking about it...
Are those even codes that come up or are they normal diagnostic steps?

Well I took a video of it going through it diagnostic test. If you look at the bottom of the Rpm gauge you can see some what loom like codes, but are they? Some one please let me know.

It wouldn't let me upload to the attachment part of android app, so I placed it on Photo bucket. Here is the link:

This is copy and pasted from another forum...

The airbag light is on constantly now. It only goes off when the wheel is turned all way either direction, but once straight it comes back on in about 10 secs.

Talked to Moore Chrysler Jeep, at first one guy said that if they diagnose it as a clock spring, it won't cost me a thing. But if it isn't that it will cost me a $119 diagnose fee, and they will offer to fix it for of course a fee.

took it to a mechanis that I work next to, he plugged it in to his fault code machine, and it said that the airbag is not connected to the system, meaning the clock spring is bad.

Turned around set an appt back at Moore, shoed up on appt day and was told i will have to pay to get it done, ie no warranty extensions, or recalls. walked out.

Just got off of phone with Chrysler and got the same answer.

My question... I WONDER WHY THEY WON'T HELP, IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE RIGHT?

Airbag light on means no deployment incase of accident. HUH.

Waiting for Gary Harper, with 3 On Your Side, to call back.

If there is any info that you guys or gals have would help a lot. I am not about to pay, even if I get reimbursed, for something that Chrysler should honor and fix!!!

If I get into a wreck I guess me (if Im still here) and the family will be taken care of by Chrysler!!! HAHA
