Here's a hitch/bumper i'm building.

The pipe is 3.5" with a 3/16" wall. The receiver is tied into both tubes very well, and the mounting plates are 3/8" plate steel. Should be very tough...















Yes, i know its not for a Jeep, but you could build a narrower one for a Jeep and never need another rear bumper...

Looks good. Tap one end of a tube with a schrader valve and you will have compressed air as well.

I have a 5gal tank i'm going to mount to the frame rail somewhere for that...

Well, I would then recommend adding a spigot and filling 'er up with some jack Daniel's. It can keep you warm, start your truck, and given to the neighbor's cat for some fun times!

I like that truck. Are you gonna cap the ends of the tube? Or at least get those plastic caps.
