Thinking about getting a bikini top for my YJ. Who's had what, should I get a mess top or a solid, any brand better than another, what are your likes and dislikes?

I like Bestop, their quality seems better then others. I run the solid top and love it but the mesh is real nice to. I am going to pick up a mesh top so I can have both.

BTW I would get the safari top so it covers the rear seats to unless no one ever rides back there.

I have the full length mesh top that I run in the summer. I like it.
Nice airy feeling lets the light through and you can still see the double rainbows with kittens on them through it.
During the winter I run my soft top with the side windows off and the rear one rolled up. I store the side windows above my sound bar to keep them from getting scratched or damaged. Good to know they are there if we get caught in the rain or on a really cold night.
I have a hard top in my garage that never gets used at all.
I'll look and see what brand my mesh top is. I think it starts with a V.

Do you have any problems with flapping of the top, more than ya get with the soft top.
No not at all. There are plenty of straps. "did he say strap in or strap on"?
My Bestop Supertop doesn't flap either.

Dang, I thought this was going to be another picture thread when I saw "bikinis"
Here ya' go... We don't want to disappoint......

I've got one of the last Viking convertible tops made before they sold out to Rampage. I'm able to store the side and rear windows in the roof top bag and the rest turns into a safari top. I've got the best of both worlds!
