I purchased, briefly used, and then gave away two racks. They just didn't work well, or damaged the bikes, were not too secure and on the list grows of bad points. Then I started looking at what active bikers were using, and asked around. Settled on the purchase of a Thule rack, I believe, but do not quote me on this, model is a 2T, or T2. ? It works so well, is quick and easy, seems secure and I like it a lot. Invest in a good cable lock to lock the bikes to the rack, and a locking hitch pin to secure the rack to your Jeep. At least here, bikes seem to be an often stolen commodity.
