Are there any aftermarket intakes for TBI 2.5L that are smog legal? My smog guy is extremely picky about setups, and since there's some emissions equipment inside of the intake box, I'm wondering if there's some way I can use an aftermarket high flow intake.

Just keep your stock one and toss it on every two years.

Was thinking about that... Maybe just keeping the box in place and running the aftermarket.

In CA it is hard to find anything that works and will still pass the visual inspection. I think if it passes emissions it shouldn't matter what you have on there.

^No kidding, last time I failed on the Jeep it was because of a stupid $4 pre-heater hose that runs from the exhaust shield to the bottom of the intake box.

Move to Florida. We don't have inspections plus you can have as many guns as you want. No income tax either.

Why the hell would I do that when Arizona is 3 hours away?

Because the beaches of Florida far outweigh the beaches of Arizona.

Does someone make an intake for the 2.5 that makes a significant difference in performance? If so, I'll find a way to get it through.
