Hello everyone. I have one minor problem. my jeep doesn't overheat but sometimes I smell hot fluid while I drive. temperature never exceeds 210 degrees no change in performance either. did these years of wranglers have a heat pad under the hood. thanks from california

The smell of sweet radiator fluid usually means your water pump is failing (look for slight leaks from around the pulleys), one of your hoses is failing (look for wet upper/lower rad hoses, or heater hose leaks) or it is possibly a leaky heater core, which is a bugger, but very doable with simple tools.

I actually had my drain plug gasket failing just look for the wet spot and see it there is a part that could leak near there.
