Default One year ago today.

so one year ago I decide I was tired of being obese I was tired of getting winded just rolling over in bed, tired of being tired all the time I would take Harley out to play and get back in the house and nap for a few hours.
I was tired of the endless coughing from smoking and not being able to do just daily activities without struggling to breath.
so I went and joined the local gym and the very first day I thought I would die. 10 minutes on the arc trainer seemed like an eternity, I did manage to get in 20 minutes. I went home and collapsed in my chair. but I was determined to get healthy I discarded all the garbage food. I swore off soda and switched to water (it was not that hard to-do).
I started to eat healthy foods salads veggies and good protein and GOOD CARBS. fruit for sacks and beef jerky ( all in recommended portions ).
day 2 at the gym was not any better but I did 1 minute more and each day after that I did a minute more.
Some days were harder than others but they did become easier. yes I had set backs and went weeks without losing even 1 pound but I never gave up never went back junk foods.
I swore off fast (fat) food even today when we go out to eat I make sure its good food. it is only now after a year that I will treat myself to the occasional pizza.
now I look forward to my workouts, I rarely miss a day of exercise.
the results I have accomplished sometimes boggle my mind (remember I was 361 pounds) as of today I am down to 290 pounds and 10 pants sizes I can walk 5 miles, bike 20 miles and go for 90 minutes on the elliptical.
I sleep better, I have energy all day I feel 100% better. I'm not sure if the pictures I post show the change but damn I feel good............thanks for reading. now get out and go for a walk.
I'd like to thank my wife Kathy for all the support over the past year , i still have a long way to go . im still fat and have to work on my man BOOBS ... so thats my story and im sticking to it.

Stephan Congrats man.
I admire your doing that.
I am worried that if i ever get fat I'll never recover. ...so try my best to not ever go over 190 to start.....Somedays I woukd like to do Breakfast and lunch and dinner at McDonald's but will not start down that road.
I have been between 186 and 188 the past decade.
Not sure if i hit 360 if I could go back.
But damn I admire the efforts you have done man!
